The Pros And Cons Of Working From A 2-Bed Home In London
The home office…
For a lot of 2-bed London flat buyers, having a home office is becoming more and more popular and higher in their wish-list.
Some buyers use the box room (the smallest bedroom) as a home office, whilst others build a home office in the garden (if their flat has a private garden!)...
Is is really up to the home buyer!
Pros of working from home
For a lot of people, if everyone is able to work from home, it enables them to not have to worry about a commute to and from the office, as such.
(Potentially) get more value for money in terms of your flat.
Save money (on commuting/ petrol, etc).
Save time .
(Potentially) more flexible working hours.
More time with family.
(Potentially) less stressful.
You can create your dream work environment.
Time to (potentially!) exercise more and eat more healthily.
A great sense of the all important work/ life balance.
“For a lot of 2-bed London flat buyers, having a home office is becoming more and more popular.”
Cons of working from home
Possible distractions.
Poor posture - if you’re sat at your desk all day.
Lack of human interaction.
Lonely.
Your mind can wander off task.
Your motivation could decrease.
(Potential) burn out from working and living in the same space.
If you can work from home from your 2-bed flat, and you have a private garden, I would personally try and have a separate working space/ home office that is completely separate from the 2-bed flat…
I would think of all of the potential pros and cons and work out if working from home is a) a genuine possibility and b) something that you feel that could do.
Have you ever thought about working from a home office?
