Living In Hammersmith, London

What Makes it Unique?

Hammersmith is really well located and in our opinion is often underrated…

It is located in West London, and borders Holland Park, Fulham, Chiswick, and Shepherd’s Bush - home to Westfield shopping centre.

It is also only just over the river (the River Thames!) from Barnes, which is a very popular location in and of itself.

Hammersmith is usually seen as a slightly less green part of West London when compared to some its neighbours, but it is home to Ravenscourt Park.

Ravenscourt Park is a large public park, which has a lake and a children’s area set amongst beautiful open green spaces and is incredibly popular with locals!

There are some beautiful spots by the River Thames in Hammersmith that are (perhaps surprisingly!) green and peaceful, giving residents a beautiful contrast between living in the hustle and bustle of Hammersmith and having the option of relaxing next to the Thames.

In terms of shopping, Hammersmith is home to Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre and Kings Mall both of which are home to a number of well known brands.

All in all, Hammersmith’s location is a huge draw for potential home buyers and an attractive price/ sq ft (what you get for your money!) is a big draw, too…
