Living In Soho, London

What Makes It Unique?

Soho is typically sought out by younger, single professionals or couples, young entrepreneurs, artists and empty-nesters that are looking for a a magnet for young entrepreneurs and also for empty-nesters that are looking for a central London pad or pied-à-terre.

It is a very popular area for pied-à-terres and properties and rooms here are rented out incredibly quickly due to the number of people that would love a quick walk to work - think theatre district/ restaurants.

In terms of green spaces, given it’s location next to Mayfair and close to Piccadilly Circus/ Leicester Square, it is certainly not Oxshott or Sevenoaks.

However, there is Soho Square and Golden Square, which are small green spaces and Green Park is around a 15 minute walk from Soho.

Given that it is in London’s West End, there is incredible access to London’s world-class theatres and residents are within, quite literally, a stones throw of some superb restaurants, bars and clubs.

Historically speaking, Soho was seen as being a bit ‘seedy’ - you know what we mean! - and to be quite frank, although that has changed and improved dramatically over the past decade or so, there is still a ‘touch’ of that in the area.

To be blunt, it is certainly not on Mayfair’s or St James’s level of sophistication!

However, it is next door to Mayfair and therefore gives Soho residents’ very quick access to Savile Row, Bond Street and all that Mayfair has to offer, too!
