Teddington is a leafy riverside location in West London and has been voted as being the ‘Best Place to Live in London’ in 2021 in The Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide.

Teddington is very popular with young families (in particular with young families moving from Battersea, Earl’s Court, Chelsea, Chiswick, Fulham and Clapham) and is in some parts, is considerably cheaper than nearby Richmond.

In terms of commuting, which is often incredibly important for those looking to move to a London suburb, Teddington is a good choice.

Teddington is a 35-minute train journey (overground) to Waterloo and is a 25 minute car journey to Heathrow Airport.

Teddington High Street is home to some well known brands, such as: Waterstones and WHSmith and Teddington is also home to some great restaurants, like One One Four, great pubs, like The King’s Head, and great cafes, like The Fallow Deer Cafe.

Schooling in and around Teddington is good, with the most popular schools being: The Tiffin Girls’ School, Tiffin School, Grey Court School, Waldegrave School, Hampton School and St Catherine’s School, Twickenham.
