What Makes It Unique?

Wandsworth is just over 3 miles from Chelsea in Prime Central London (PCL) and is in a superb location.

To the north of Wandsworth is Fulham and the River Thames; to the east of Wandsworth is Battersea and Clapham; to the west of Wandsworth is Putney and to the south is Balham.

Wandsworth is particularly popular with families, and it is easy to see why where there are some superb family houses on offer, mixed in with good green spaces and great choices in terms of schooling - both state schools and private schools.

In terms of green spaces, Wandsworth Common (170+ acres) and Clapham Common (circa 220 acres) are both incredibly popular local parks.

Properties that are close to these ‘commons’ are prime properties and go for a premium!

Wimbledon has often overshadowed nearby Wandsworth (Wimbledon is circa 3 miles south-west of Wandsworth) but in recent years Wandsworth has seen an increase in popularity!

Interestingly, a large number of home buyers tend to stay within the area and ‘trade up’ as such and buy a larger flat or house because they love the area so much…

Commuting to and from Wandsworth is good!

Wandsworth Town to Waterloo station takes circa 17 minutes and Wandsworth Common to Victoria station takes 15 minutes on a direct change and takes circa 25 minutes with a change at Balham.

Schooling in and around Wandsworth is great, with the most sought-after local schools being: Honeywell Junior School, All Saint’s Church of England Primary School, St Anselm’s Catholic Primary School, Our Lady of Victories Catholic Primary School, Wandsworth Prep School, The Roche School, Emanuel School and Hurlingham School.
