Falling For A 1-Bed London Home

Falling for a property is a huge part of the home buying process…

If you haven’t fallen for a property, should you even offer on it?

I’d strongly argue “no!”…

You need to fall for your future 1-bed home and truly imagine yourself living there!

You really should know that you want to live in the 1-bed property instantly - or at least incredibly quickly when viewing it…

It’s an indescribable ‘feeling’…

That you’re meant to be living there…!

Emotionally it can be difficult - very difficult - and is one of the reasons why buying and selling a property is one of the top 3 most stressful events that people go through in their lives…

However, try your best to not get too emotionally invested in the 1-bed property before having an offer accepted, as it can lead to property heartbreak!

Remember that a 1-bed home purchase (or sale!) isn’t legally binding until exchange of contracts, and the buyer or seller can pull out of the purchase or sale at any time prior to this, without having to give a reason!!

It is certainly not uncommon for 1-bed home buyers in London to make an offer on a property, for it to be accepted by the vendor(s), only for the vendor to change their mind in a few weeks or even months!

The same thing can happen for the vendor…

They can accept an offer and the potential buyer can simply walk away from the purchase, leaving the vendor in ‘limbo’ and having to start the marketing of their 1-bed property all over again!

Emotionally it can be difficult - very difficult - and is one of the reasons why buying and selling a property is one of the top 3 most stressful events that people go through in their lives…

Have you ever fallen for a 1-bed property and not ended up buying it?
