Poor Photos On The Property Portals

The property portals can be superb for 1-bed, 2-bed or 3-bed London apartment sellers…

However, they can also be the main obstacle when it comes to selling their London apartment…

The photos that are on the portals are often the first time that the majority of potential 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed London apartment buyers see that particular property.

It is really important for sellers to make a superb first impression, as a bad first impression on the portals will likely come in the form of no viewings booked.

Have you ever been put off a potentially perfect 1-bed, 2-bed or 3-bed apartment (on paper!) because of the photos that are on the property portals?

“They can also be the main obstacle when it comes to selling their 1-bed, 2-bed or 3-bed home.”

It is far more common than you may think…

Think about it…

If an apartment has been on the market for a long time and the photos are either poor quality, do not capture the apartment in the best light or the house looks incredibly dated, it doesn’t come across in the best light…

I feel that one should view this as an opportunity to purchase a London apartment at a good price and with the potential to put your own spin and touch on it.

Personally, I would rather buy an apartment for less money and use the excess money to carry out renovations that suit my personal taste instead of buying a new build or a newly renovated property where everything has been done for me and not 100% to my tastes.

However, others would much rather buy a newly renovated apartment in London where they can simply bring their belongings and move straight into it…

Do not be put off by poor photos on the portals.

If it ticks a range of other boxes including location, parking, outside space, commute time, etc, but the only thing stopping you from viewing it is the photos/ the fact that it needs renovating, then I would definitely book a viewing!

They are often a gateway to a brilliant opportunity in terms of the price that you will eventually pay in addition to having the chance to renovate it to your liking.
